Comments now open

Because freedom of speech is... yadda yadda yadda. Hehe.

When I migrated to Plone, I left the old comments in the old site, and I turned off auto-registration for commenters because my WordPress blog was chock-full with SPAM users and I was not going to repeat that experience in Plone.  Today, I reopen commenting here, with two ground rules:

  1. You have to be a registered user to talk.  In my experience, anonymous comments were mostly a nuisance and garbage, and I no longer have time to babysit.
  2. Comments are moderated.  Every comment you make must first be approved by me.  If CAPTCHAs are working as advertised, then I will turn off moderation for users later on.

So if you have something to share, welcome aboard.  Register again and comment away!
