Equalism is a stupid and evil idea

If you don't already understand why Everybodyism (democracy, universal rights, equality) is an evil and stupid idea, here's a story for you.

On summer break in between semesters, I had nothing to do one day, and no money to go out. I was just sort of staring into space.

I happened to be sitting in front of one of those wide candles with three wicks like the one pictured.

A little bit bored, I decided to fill the burned-away area in the middle of the wax with rubbing alcohol and light it, to make a super-candle, just for the spectacle of it. I put it on top of a baking sheet to prevent any spreading of the flame in case the glass broke. A little odd, sure. But I just wanted some sort of stimulation.

Somebody came home and saw the candle. "BIG FIRE BAD," this person said, and filled a pot of water to put it out.

"DON'T POUR WATER ON IT," I said. "IT WILL OVERFLOW. YOU HAVE TO SMOTHER IT."

This person walked towards the candle with the water.

"LISTEN, DON'T POUR THAT IN THERE, YOU'LL SET THE HOUSE ON FIRE," I said.

This person began pouring water into the burning alcohol.

"STOP," I said.

This person did not stop. They hastily dumped a full pot of water into the candle. The flame poured over the edge, splashed on the baking sheet, and got all over the floor.

"Oh, no!" said this person. "What the hell?" We both scrambled to stomp out the flames on the carpet.

"Why did you do that?" I asked. "I didn't know that would happen," the person said.

This is why Everybodyism doesn't work. The people who understand things have no power but to scream at the people who don't understand them, and they never listen, because stupid people don't know they're stupid.

They will try communism again. "DON'T DO THAT, YOU'LL KILL EVERYONE." "I didn't know that would happen!"

They will open the borders and let in millions of hostile people. "DON'T DO THAT, THEY WILL TAKE OVER ONCE THEY OUTNUMBER YOU. "I didn't know that would happen!"

Speaking to the stupid is a waste of time and giving them power is suicide.
